PREEMPTIVE STRIKE: Iran Could Turn Off EU Oil Supply Early

The European Union sanctions on Iranian oil, announced earlier this week, will only come into effect on July 1, in an attempt to give countries time to look for alternate sources.

In an unprecedented gathering of crowds Syntagma square and the surrounding streets were so full that the metro suspended its operation at 8.20 p.m. because the passengers could not come out of the station.
