Chef Joseph Chouinard to Treat St Pete to Affordable Namesake
ST PETERSBURG, FL February 5, 2009 ... Renowned Four Star Chef Joseph Chouinard, formerly Executive Chef/Partner of Redwoods and Pacific Wave Restaurants has returned to the Tampa Bay area and will be opening a new eatery concept called Chouinard's Cuisine (on the run) on February 9, 2009 at 9617 Bay Pines Blvd, across from the VA Hospital in St Petersburg.
Chouinard's Cuisine will be a unique, first of its kind restaurant: a friendly café and on the run cuisine during the day coupled with exclusive “chef's table,” an evening of four star dining! Chouinard's Cuisine will also feature all-inclusive event planning and catering.
Chef Joseph has worked side by side with culinary royalty and has over thirty years in the food industry, most recently three years high-end event planning/catering in Los Angeles, CA.
In the 1200 square foot, 40 seat yellow and brick-trimmed café, an àla carte counter will offer breakfast items, beverages, and "on the run" sandwiches, salads and Entrée's daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the café will offer a wide selection of sandwiches, soups, salads and sides that can be ordered at the counter to eat in-house or for the busy person on the run.
Patrons seeking a more formal dining experience can enjoy “the chef's table,” a four star five-course dinner offered Friday and Saturday evening, strictly limited to 40 guests.
