Incompetent Among Us, Reno's Cliff J. Young, Attorney-at-Law
The Internet has become a common ground for sharing viewpoints, both pro and con. As more people are tuned in to the electronic age it has become increasingly more difficult for the bad practices of any business, no matter how remote or small their marketplace is, to continue without being noticed, as has been the case until now. People of all levels and of experience have increasingly begun to share their opinions concerning the various pluses and minuses of various businesses. Many businesses are not coming out well in these news group discussions.
A similar story to Reno, Nevada's Sandy Fox and his Cabinet Facers http://www.babelation.com/?q=node/1068. Here is another story of a Reno son who is not the Nevada father, and has the same similar disdain for employees, clients and fiduciary duties as I previously reported about Reno Counselors Mitchell Wright and Kent B. Hanson http://www.babelation.com/?q=node/840.
Many stories have come in to me since I started this Among Us series. When I met Cliff J. Young, Attorney-at-Law, 775.677.7777 ostensibly to interview him to hire him for a bankruptcy, I took my wife along, as we really are looking into bankruptcy. At that time, I'd had more than a year of stories coming in, and Cliff J. Young was also often mentioned. I'd had a slew of horror stories about Counselor Young by the time my wife and I walked into his office.
Counselor Young's office had a high turn-over with employees. Some employees only lasted a week or two. Employees often yelled at each other in their frustration. His office lost complete legal files and then tried to hide that fact ... for months. Counselor Young favors though dang high-heeled ponty-toes cowboy boots, and dirty wrinkled jeans and shirts. His office did not return repeated phone calls. His long-term assistant is one John Hamm, law school graduate. Several of Cliff J. Young, Attorney-at-Law legal clients and former employees, including law school students and graduates studying for the bar, (after all this is the office of the son of the reputable Cliff Young!) wrote me to complain that “prissy” Mr. Hamm ham-handles legal files. Walking into Mr. Hamm's office is quite a shock as there are several hundreds, if not thousands, of legal files piled on top of each other with no regard to filing cabinets, let alone locked filing cabinets or client privacy. No wonder Counselor Young's office regularly loses complete legal files.
Other complaints that I've received are about being yelled at by Counselor Young and Mr. Hamm. Yelled at for complaints such as: 1. losing files 2. not returning repeated calls. 3. having incorrect mailing addresses. 4. employee's children in the legal offices. 5. failure to protect client's privacy anywhere in the office whether verbally or in writing. There is NO reception area and my wife and I heard all about the previous client's what should have been private legal issues, as Counselor Young was running more than an hour late. 6. the casual attire of the office from Mr. Young to his staff. 7. the high employee turn-over at Counselor Young's office. 8. the way the phone is seldom answered and when occasionally answered, the unprofessional and even disdainful way it is answered. 9. the way client files are not filed nor secured. 10. The way Counselor Young arrogantly puts his feet up on his desk while disdainfully talking down to his legal clients. 11. The way Counselor Young does not even show up to court hearings and didn't even do a prior notification to his client or the judge/trustee he would not be there. 12. Appointments were never kept on time, and often times, not even kept. 13. The common use of profanity in the office by Counselor Young and his staff. 14. The sexual way young female employees acted whom Counselor Young seems to have a marked fondness for. 14. The way employees bickered, often profanely, at each other in front of clients. 15. Repeated claiming faxes were not received in spite of client fax receipts. 16. The personal business that Counselor Young and his staff openly and arrogantly conducted while they were supposed to be in a meeting with the legal client. 17. Hostile, arrogant, self-important jackass. 18. compulsive thief. 19. morally bankrupt. 20. immature.
To me, gloating promoters of the Information Age all too often forget that knowledge has always been about connecting people and their behaviors, not just in collecting information. There has been and continues to be a democratic demand for more relevancy and currency in people's and organization's behaviors, and to holding people and organizations accountable for their conduct.
I believe that the Internet, the servant to a Knowledge Economy, is the true democratic voice of facts and free speech beliefs. Using the Internet to do a search is simply a reversion to the search of any life for credentials and integrity of another's life.
Most have access to a computer. Public schools and libraries have free public computer access and training. Most can now instantly post previously hidden facts and their free speech opinions, and access others' post of previously hidden, even deliberately suppressed, facts and free speech opinions. Happenings and ideology that previously would never have been disseminated are now readily found with a simple Google search. A Google search is just a search for credentials and integrity.
The result is that individuals and organizations are suddenly finding their previously hidden illegal, corrupt, lazy, or immoral behaviors, and their secrets, avarice, cravings, or even mistakes, suddenly and rightfully very publicly front and center on the Internet. Integrity, or its' lack, is immediately exposed in a simple Google search.
Harmful behaviors that once were self-servingly known then to be ephemeral, and smugly relied on by the licentious perpetuators to be such, are now instantly available for analysis and judgement in the permanence the of the Internet. In response, evil raises its specious clamor when it finds itself suddenly and rightfully in the expose spotlight of the Internet. Once exposed, evil then aggressively applies its Unclean Hands to spurious ridicule and makes heavy-handed, manipulative intentionally damaging legal threats of, or illegally pursues, defamation to brutally and wrongly silence the dissemination of facts and muzzle free speech beliefs. The Internet though, has rightfully, quietly and powerfully abdicated the corrupt in its' contemptuous and former commanding amoral influence in silencing facts and free speech beliefs.

All court records, unless specifically asked to be sealed aka no longer public, which is very rare, are public records. For this expose, I also went to the courts and found out the names and addresses of his previous and current clients and interviewed them.

The 2008 Reno BBB Accredited Business Directory is out. Has that "When you see the BBB seal, it means that the business has agreed to "Tell the Truth, Keep Its Promises, Be Responsive." Cliff Young Attorney is not in it. Now we know why.

Reno/Northern Nevada has NO GOOD ATTORNEYS or JUDGES. The Reno attorneys and judges are all a bunch of arrogant, full of themselve, slef-serving, don't show up to the hearings, incompentent, bad personal hygiene, zero customer service shysters. Too bad Mack didn't kill the judge.

A notorious reputation of intimating people and filing harassment charges against the people who stand up and speak out against corrupt corporations and immoral or illegal behavior only lasts so long before people rightfully snap and fight back. In the 1980's, Nevada had such poor regulation of securities that is was known as the Securities Fraud Capital. Now it's the Mortgage Fraud Capital due to the deficient regulation and enforcement by the Nevada Real Estate Division, Nevada Mortgage Division, and the Nevada Attorney General, as well as its corrupt judges, which I understand from the author's various mortgage fraud exposes, are unsurprisingly due to bribes and incompetence.
Nevada is a without a doubt, a consumer-hostile state. Scrutiny has been so minimal of business that consumer victims of these frauds find no help from Nevada officials due to the bribes and incompetence of these Nevada officials. This kind of bad publicity and having such a bad reputation, is detrimental to Nevada's economy which is why I define these Nevada officials as treasonous and subversive to the people they represent.
Nevada Assembly Member Bernie Anderson of Washoe County was recently quoted in the Reno News and Review “I don't know whether that ever really goes into the decision making,” and this Chair of the Nevada Assembly Judiciary Committee, and member of the Nevada Assembly Commerce, also incredibly says the effects of bad publicity to Nevada has rarely been on the radar screen of legislators.
Washoe County recently went Blue, as well as the State. The days of the sinful Wild Wild West are over. Corrupt, immoral and self-serving treasonous arrogant out-of-touch with the people morons like the arrogant Nevada officials taking the bribes, or just plain incompetent, are rapidly ending. Nevada Assembly Member Bernie Anderson, Reno Judge Steven Elliott, Reno Real Estate Brokers Valerie Mapes, Darrel Plummer and Jeff Giesler, Nevada Real Estate Administrator Ann McDermott, Nevada Real Estate Division Investigator Kip Steele, Nevada Administrator Mendy Elliott, Nevada Administrator Sheila Leslie, Countrywide manager Sue Barry, Wells Fargo Area Manager Richard Vaughan, and all the others exposed, I'm looking forward to their soon to come and they certainly earned it life behind bars. I love that names are named, sources are published. I won't be surprised if someone takes a pot shot at these incompetent, arrogant or corrupt people. Darren Mack did it for Judge Weller's capricious rulings, and violence has been long such in Northern California, where I'm from. In Northern California disgruntled clients walked in and shot several lawyers, and one San Rafael, California capricious judge was pulled off his bench where he found himself with a shotgun taped to his throat, then he did die when the shotgun discharged.
America is a representative democracy and when the representatives forget they represent the people, people remind them who the representatives represent. Some of the people bullied by businesses, then disenfranchised by their representatives and paid officials do it with the keyboard, some do it by violence. So Nevada businesses and representatives and officials, its your choice what's on your radar screen. Represent the people and you have nothing to worry about. Represent only big money and for-profit corporations, and you have to worry about people pushed to desperation, that you forgot or didn't care that you also represent. People whose sad and desperate stories are written about in exposes such as these.
I am not a proponent of senseless violence. I do understand when victims are pushed into violence when their representatives and paid officials fail to help the victims. That makes sense to me. America was founded in violence after exhausting all other means to get her relief against her oppressors. Every American should always remember that in how they conduct themselves. When violence does happen from the victims, I say when I hear about it, the business or representative or official had it coming. If called to jury duty I would never find a victim guilty who resorted to violence only against an individual in a business that wronged them or the representative or official that wronged them after exhausting all other legal means.
So people, all businesses, representatives and officials, I am not surprised when things get ugly for you when you wrong someone. It is the American tradition.

BEWARE THIS CLIFTON YOUNG
My experience with Reno lawyer Clifton Young and his office was a nightmare I couldn't escape from. They immediately took my money and just as quick lost all the original documents I had brought in. The turn-over at this office is like a new employee a week. The Reno lawyer supposedly in charge, this Clifton Young, was pushy, rude, and too busy taking care of his life to do what I had paid him to do. That included never returning my many calls. That included not showing up in court and not telling me he wasn't going to be in court. That included what I signed and what was filed isn't what I ended up with. And I didn't know that until after the fact and it was too late. This guy Reno lawyer Clifton Young just took pretty much everything out of my bankruptcy that after the bankruptcy was done and finished and I found out he had removed stuff without my knowledge or permission, it came down to why even do the bankruptcy. If I had known this incompentent, rude jerk was going to gut my bankruptcy, I wouldn't have hired him let alone paid him. He just screwed me.
