Nordenau Water,Hydrogen water,NORDENAU - Germany
This place got famous when (according to owner's testimony) one of the hotel's guest whished to choose his own wine in the storage place, which was a cave on the hotel's backyard. When he entered the cave he said that the place have some kind of energy, positivelly affecting his energetic structure (he was a biotherapy person). After the news was announced to other hotel's guests, everybody went to the cave and some people experienced positive health effects. The Village is very small and located in beautifull mountain area, so the news has been spread around very quickly and hit the radio and TV shortly.............that's the story.
The cave was a working place (slate mine) for Tommes family for many years before they started hotel business - no any healing was reported for that years to anyone working in the cave ! However, after the incident presented above, there was some scientific research made, including research by famous prof. Shirahata from Japan Water Institute. The results of these research are available in prof. Shirahata's files and Tommes' family files. The most interesting thing is, that the research is usually on water, while people visiting the cave for healing purposes are not necessary drinking this water, and if so, they drink it not enough to get healing effect from active hydrogen discovered in that water by prof. Shirahata.
The German source is a spring of very pure water discovered in a cave in a disused slate mine at Nordenau, district of Schmakenberg, which is a popular ski resort. The land belongs to Theo Tommes, whose Hotel Tommes lies below the quarry. The water was discovered in January 1992 and now hundreds of people daily visit the cave, which is becoming Germanyâs Lourdes. Buses bring the old, sick and crippled, and the Hotel Tommes is packed.
The Nordenau healings have even been scientifically investigated. A study conducted by Dr Hans Jurgen Steinbruck, a GP from Frankfurt/Main, found that 30 per cent of the visitors to the Grotto Brandholz in Nordenau were "totally healed" and 28 per cent reported "a clear improvement".
Dr Steinbruck conducted his study between September and December 1992 among 42 volunteers, most of whom had chronic diseases (50 per cent suffered from rheumatism, 11 per cent from psychiatric or neurological illnesses). The study was carried out on a strictly medical basis by way of a clinical trial, and the percentage of subjects that benefited from the Nordenau water are considered to be very significant for these kinds of diseases.
Since its discovery in 1992, the spring of healing water in Nordenau, Germany, has been visited daily by hundreds of people from all over the world.
Research carried out in 1992 by a Dr Steinbruck from Frankfurt involved investigating the cases of 42 visitors to the healing spring. Of these cases, 30 per cent were completely cured; in 28 per cent of the cases there was a significant improvement in their condition; and in 26 per cent their condition had improved to some extent. These findings were confirmed by doctors. Recent research carried out by a Dr Gadek on 515 visitors who had drunk water from the spring, showed that, independent of age and personality type, in almost all cases there was a significant improvement in the quality of life after drinking the healing water.
Nordenau water was tested and investigated in the laboratories of Professor Shirahata in Fukuoha in Japan. It was discovered that diseases and conditions such as cataracts and arthritis and the initial stages of multiple sclerosis respond well to, and can be successfully treated with, Nordenau water. In May 1999 Professor Shirahata addressed a conference on molecular biology in Lugano, Switzerland, and spoke of the 'phenomenal' healing power of Nordenau water. He is currently studying the effects of the water on tumours and plans to publish his
