July 1 2008,Has the Planet of the apes started in real life?

There are news reports in California of a 42 year old domesticated chimpanzee named Moe escaping from his home(zoo) into the mountains yesterday.Moe once attacked a police officer and a female visitor when he lived in a home with his former owners

Moe lived with his owners in their West Covina home until 1999, when the animal bite the police officer

Owner St. James Davis was nearly killed in 2005 by two chimps who attacked him while visiting Moe at the Bakersfield sanctuary where the animal was living at the time.

Moe's story is quite eerie when you think about it,he was domesticated for 30 odd years,then starts attacking people.He is then removed to a sanctuary,but when his former owners visit two other chimps escaped their cages and attack Moe's formers owners,biting off Mr Davis's nose and testicle,finally after all that he escapes.Moe is considered extremely intelligent in fact he is able to eat with a fork.Moe's story to me means either one of two things,that we should leave the monkeys in the wild and stop trying to make pets out of them or he is like Caesar of the Planet of Apes film/mythology ready to lead the apes to freedom
