Two experts in robotic warfare recently predicted that the US military will
be 30% Robotic within 20 years. I question might that number go up in future wartime battlefields where high-tech armies will be more willing to send
in robotic weapons in advance attacks in order to save human soldiers ,
much like how bombs are now disabled by bomb robots.

The two leading luminaries in the robot warfare field reckon that Robots could easily account for 30% of forces by 2020.

Doug Few and colleague Bill Smart of Washington University do however concede that this force is still in need of the human touch and that fully autonomous machines would likely be the ones without weaponry
