W.O.M.E.N. Launches Children's Fashion Passion Show for Charity on September 13, 2009

CLEARWATER, FL, SEPTEMBER 9, 2009 - W.O.M.E.N. (Women Only Mentoring Entrepreneurial Network) will put on a children's charity fashion show on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Clothes to Kids, 1059 N. Hercules Avenue, Clearwater, FL 33765.

Fashion Passion will begin at 2pm and include musical performances by Klik and Erin Brea. W.O.M.E.N., in partnership with sponsors Duck Duck Goose, Once Upon a Child-Largo, Brides and Blooms, Saving Faces, and the WriteOne Creative Services, hope to raise awareness of the Clothes to Kids organization. Clothes to Kids provides a fashion boutique for school age children to shop at without cost in Pinellas County. In order to qualify, they or their family are currently receiving services from another social service agency or their family is in crisis due to a fire, flood, job loss, medical issues, et cetera.

W.O.M.E.N's main goal as a new organization is to do as much charity and volunteer work as possible, with the emphasis of empowering women. Its first event, Fashion Passion will showcase a variety of clothing available to students K-12 who meet the necessary criteria of Clothes to Kids, presented by twenty-four elementary through high school student model volunteers.

Fashion show attendees will have the opportunity to donate new and nearly new garments at the Clothes to Kids charity event. Any proceeds collected from this show will go directly to Clothes to Kids.
